Taylor Janoskie has worked for Janoskie Financial & Associates for over 6 years. He has passed both his Series 7 General Securities Representative Examination and Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law Examination. As well as his Life and Health Insurance Licenses. Taylor is passionate about investing, budgeting, living debt free and preserving one’s wealth. He believes successful investment relationships are built on the foundation of trust. Taylor believes that trust is built by open communication, and having conviction and confidence in every financial decision.
Taylor graduated from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island in May 2016. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Services and a minor in Mathematics. While maintaining his high GPA, he also played four years of Division 1-AA football for the Bryant Bulldogs. Taylor believes that being a well-rounded student-athlete has helped in numerous ways. He developed great leadership qualities and time management skills, as well as learned the importance of teamwork.
Taylor’s time management skills were well reflected as he found time to tutor in Bryant University’s Goal Based Study Hall for student-athletes. In addition to helping student-athletes, he also worked in the Finance Lab as a tutor for all students at Bryant University’s Academic Center for Excellence. Through tutoring, Taylor became CRLA Level 1 Certified.
Taylor was also accepted into Bryant University’s Archway Investment Fund, a highly competitive, two semester class where students actively manage a $1,000,000 portfolio. The first semester he worked as a Securities Analyst providing comprehensive research on stocks and ETFs. Taylor then became a Portfolio Manager in the second semester for the Energy, Materials, and Utilities sectors. He was tasked with learning how to actively manage a portfolio, and pick value stocks and ETFs with a three to five year time horizon.
Taylor resides in Reisterstown, Maryland with his wife, Caroline, and their Golden Retriever, Stanley. Taylor enjoys being outdoors, boating and skiing. He is also a passionate fan of the Ravens, Orioles, and Washington Wizards.
